In an atmosphere of joy and devotion, the Parish of St. Therese of the Child Jesus in Carrefour Charles celebrated the inauguration of its new Chapel Temple during the patron saint’s feast. 

This achievement is the result of the effort and unity of the parish community, which worked tirelessly to replace the old bamboo structure. The new temple, built on the same site as the old chapel, now stands as a symbol of hope and a center of gathering and celebration for the community. 

This progress is especially significant given that the Parish has been a mission area of the Society of Jesus since 2021, and is located in a region with multiple challenges. The dedication of the church not only highlights the commitment and resilience of the parish community, but also reinforces hope and vision for a better future for the entire area. This new sacred space will serve as a beacon of faith and togetherness for parishioners, and strengthen the Jesuit mission in the region
