From the first moment of the arrival of the Jesuits on the Island and after their expulsion, upon their return, notable Jesuits have maintained a fruitful service for the life of the Church and its cultural and intellectual aided by their institutions.
At present, an important contribution is being made in the University of the Episcopal Conference of Haiti, who have relied on the person of a Jesuit Rector for this part of their young history as a University
The Notre Dame University of Haiti has 10 branches spread throughout the island and, together with the rector, other Jesuits also participate in the development and growth of this important cultural and intellectual space for the Church of Haiti.
We also carry out our shared Mission through permanent collaboration such as with the Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Institution, guiding the Spiritual Exercises, and the accompaniment and chaplaincy of consecrated men and women.
